he prolly means the dos version of rebel. ntfs is a boon to winchess in general because of larger file sizes, better indexing, access to larger egtbs the abilitity to build bigger better trees of positions in chess Assistant etc. etc. the original poster is sorry that older free software is not modded to the new specs. the dos kernel(emulation) is very different now-- this is more relevant than the improved file system.
