Actually, my partner and I started only a few weeks ago and due to the holidays
and the fact that I put out a state chess newsletter, it has been too hectic to
get too far. We are still coding the legal move generator and the alpha
beta-like search engine. However, we did a lot of research before starting and
once we get the main components working, hope that our engine will be about 2000
- 2100 the first time out. I think our greatest difficulty will be in coding
chess knowledge into the program. We have a few ideas on that, however, this
will probably be an area that we ask questions on.

Also, I was thinking that there are a lot of coders here. Maybe some of us could
help contribute with assisting to get web pages developed if the server issues
are merely ones of presentation (as opposed to server configuration).

Happy Holidays,

KarinsDad
