After a *great deal* of time, you'll wind up with inferior book lines. Many such lines run 20 moves/40 plies deep, and the strategic concepts extending beyond that, are unclear to computer programs. Such lines are frequently culled from the programs book, of course, by the programmer / bookmaker. Yes, something reasonable can be made, automatically thru game playing, but the final result takes a very long time, and is not very high quality. Dave
