I thought it would be interesting to put a file together that would be easy for computer novices to open and run. The only thing they have to do is extract the files to c:\chess I think it's a good time to tell authors of the above engines and Tim Mann how much I appreciate the good work! Engines included: Crafty 19.14 Ruffian 1.05 Thinker 4.6b Delfi 4.5 I don't have crafty working with an opening book because I couldn't figure it out. I also would like it if I could make the default folder for extracting to be c:\chess\winboard. Then it would be a piece of cake to install for anyone.
