Subject: AMD 64-3500+ and Shredder 8

Hi all !

I just updated my AMD XP 2600+ to an AMD 64-3500+

At the beginning position (all pieces on they beginning position)using Shredder
8, I have :
AMD 64-3500+ at 450 kn/s
AMD 2600+ at    260 kn/s

So 450/260 = 1.73

Is it normal that it is 1.73 faster ?

I was expecting less (around 1.3)

Is my XP 2600+ which was to slow or is it that the 3500+ is very fast ??
