There are different Athlon XP 2600+ out. I assume you have the Barton which is clocked at 1916 MHz. The Athlon 64 3500+ is clocked at 2200 MHZ, which is an increase of 15%. Plus an additional efficiency increase of 15% for the Athlon 64 I would expect the same as you 30 % increase. 73 % seems rather suspicious. Can you check the benchmark or other positions? Your 260 knps look rather slow. On my Athlon XP 1800+ (clocked at 1540 MHz) I get 229 knps in the initial position after 30 seconds. regards Joachim
