Maybe nobody knows?  :-)

I'll make a guess on a project conversion problem. Not unusual in the past.

I moved my Crafty project from VC2003 to VC2005 and it turned out 5.4 MB!

Of course the compiler also complained that some of the optimization settings
are not supported anymore. So I just changed /Ox to /O2 and recompiled - much
smaller. Changed back to /Ox and a new compile. Still small and slightly faster
(7-8%) than the 2003 version.


Don't know why.  :-)
