Yes, Evans talks about John Merlino's comparison of Chessmaster and Fritz.
Incidentally, Fritz finds Bxg6 in 3 seconds on my machine (Athlon XP 2GHz), and
gives it a plus score of over 1.00 in under 10 seconds.
