SSE2 is supported by Athlon64 and Opteron CPUS. For the most part the Intel 8.0 compiler will always produce code that runs slower on an AMD CPU vs the Microsoft compiler. The inlineamd.h is for the Athlon64 and Opteron CPUs and will not work on the 32 bit AMDs.
