As a computer chess enthusiast for many years who is not interested in chess
programming per se, I find Steve's and Fernando's posts about dedicated chess
machines and other non-technical computer chess-related topics a refreshing
oasis in a desert of dry technical discussions. I also miss the old posts of
Komputer Corner and Larry Kaufman, when they would review programs' playing
styles, gui features, etc. I hope Steve keeps his posts coming. They enrich
this ccc comunity.
