I have told him repeatedly to not take this so seriously. If he screws up, he just screws up. Heavens knows I have "screwed up" in enough tournaments to know that a "flawless" event is so very unlikely to happen. I told him that if he drew an opponent he thought we should be able to beat, or if we lost to an opponent we should be able to beat, to just go to bed, and get ready for the next round. No point in worrying about what might have been, when there is plenty to do about what might be in the next round. :) I also told him very precisely that if he loses every game due to operator blunders, it won't cause me to lose any sleep at all. Stuff happens. :)
