I recently found this thread: from: http://www.google.com.ph/search?q=cache:XSYmIF-TBWQJ:www.chessgames.com/perl/chessplayer%3Fpid%3D15601+HIARCS+weak&hl=en ==================== Lawrence: <ughaibu>, if I remember correctly Junior 8 loads up a slightly different configuration each time you switch it on. One day it'll have "King Safety"=100, "Bishop Pair"=98, "Centre Control"=101. Next day you may get "King Safety=101, "Bishop Pair"=101, "Centre Control"=98 etc. If just one move turns out to be different it's a different game after that. Since I never play against Junior I personally would rather be able to tell it "Just analyze in Capablanca mode" but I think that's not possible. ==================== How true is this? That Junior loads up with a different setting each time you turn it on?
