>It has ben unfortunate that my post about Diep maddly chasing pawns as Junior >prepared the killing has produced some degree of attack or flaming over >Diepeveen, the author. if i were you my friend i would not worry about this for 1 second this interest in pc programs playing each other is somewhat curious and a bit humorous in my opinion in less then 15 minutes from the end of this match 75% of the programs will be updated, refined, reprogrammed ,revamped and there will be new claims as to which program NOW is the best after these new revisions i even suspect that many who follow these matches are amateur computer porgammers only and do not even like or enjoy or even play chess it is a never ending process that will continue ad nausem they do not even use the same hardware to compete this is like each batter in a baseball game allowed to use a different bat made from different material better to stop time for a moment and play the old computers there is a machine frozen in time that will never change it sits as a legacy to mans acheivement at one point in time and is forever memorialized in the form of a chess board and pieces Best Steve
