Plus even if you did use equal hardware it probably would raise questions of not playing a statistical significant number of games. IMHO I'd prefer to see people get the absolute best best hardware they can afford and slug it out. If they want scientific testing.. see if the SSDF will run it. I can understand some people not having 'good' hardware. The world isn't fair, it never will be. It is good that they're letting some of the participants use P4-2.8's though. Seems like a pretty good tournament setup so far.
