And why would you choose to exclude a certain sub-set of programs that don't use that hardware? IE chess 4.x was in COMPASS, CDC assembly language. Cray Blitz had 20K lines of Cray assembly. Belle and deep thought/deep blue used special-purpose hardware. Do you exclude them? why? How can a program be world champion when it can't beat all programs???
