Think "bigger". Think "outside Israel". After all, this is the _world_ computer chess championship. If you don't believe my criticism is valid, then perhaps you _are_ part of the problem. Because most of us realize that the world is bigger than one university building and a 4-star hotel to sleep in. Wouldn't it be marvelous if the world-cup soccer matches were played in this same black hole? find out about winners/losers the next day or the day after? How long would the event last like that? The superbowl announces the winner a week after the game is played? That would also work well. Today's world is about real-time information availability. The WCCC is not... You are to self-centered. The tournament itself probably is very well done. But the responsibility does _not_ stop at the tournament hall door, when an event has the "world championship" words in the title. There is an obligation to provide timely information. For chess, timely = real-time. And not only through a proprietary interface provided by a commercial company. That is beyond ridiculous... > > >> >>Furthermore, there is no official information about hardware.
