Rxb1 Rxb1# * Both programs evaluated white as better out of book but it seems that movei blundered later by 24.Qxg7 longer analysis discovers 24.Re3 24.Qxg7 is losing the game but it was enough for movei to see it as a draw to avoid it. There was also some bug in movei time management but I think that the main factor in losing the game was not that bug but the hardware advantage of Diep. With fair hardware advantage 4 opterons against one opteron and not against the tournament hardware movei could probably avoid Qxg7 because it can fail low in a few minutes with the hardware of the tournament. In the end of the game I saw Diep "calculates" even after finding a forced mate so I thought it may have a bug there and lose on time so I decided to play until mate. Movei stops to calculate after seeing a mate against itself and the result is that it may play suboptimal move after finding mate as you can see from the game but I do not care much about that problem. I saw that Vincent said that I did not play 1.h3 Note that I did not promise to do it before the game. I believe that this option should be enough for strong programs but movei is not strong enough. I can note that I did not like the opening that movei played against crazy bishop inspite of the fact that Movei won the game(Movei found itself with negative score with white after the opening). I was afraid that movei will repeat the same opening with white and lose so I decided to use a smaller manual book. Uri
