I posted some results a while back, CB on a T932 vs Crafty on my older Quad xeon I think. 7M nps for CB vs 1+M for Crafty was not that "pretty"... On the quad opteron, crafty is significantly faster so this should change... Hitech would not be competitive today. It searched around 150K nodes per second and would get smoked speed-wise today.
