I would think they would want to market the tournament to as many people as possible. Somehow I doubt the 14 participants keep ICGA alive. It's everyone that subscribes and donates. It's great the actual tournament is going smoothly, but I would think they would want to boost the tournament and get more people involved outside the contestants. It's good for ICGA, it's good for computer chess.
