Right now they seem to be in a state of denial. "Tournament is >well-organized, with a nice place to play, nice hotel to sleep in with cheap >rates, etc." No comment about lack of access and depending on participants to >leak information as possible... Reminds me of David Stern anytime anyone asks him about a problem with the NBA. "Things are going great! Ratings are up! Popularity is at an all-time high! Look at all of these wonderful young players!" Doesn't really address the issue, but he's the commissioner. What can we expect him to say :) However, while it is not accessible to anyone who doesn't use Windows, I have to say the live video and audio commentary by GM Alterman is really very nice. They did a very nice job with that setup. It is a pity that non-Windows users can't see it. I liked his coverage better than the guys in the Kasparov matches on ESPN. Do other chess servers have anything comparable to this live video and audio commentary where the commentator can move the pieces and diagram the position with arrows and highlighted squares all over?
