I was just beginning to ask myself this question, but the criteria for 'best' are not clear. The plan is certainly that participating authors/operators will nominate their own best game, and the best game of the event. This gives me the excuse to quote from a colleague's report re the questions he set to Computer Science students on logic. By way of explanation, 'Pop Idol' and 'Fame Academy' are two TV talent shows which may or may not have made it to various countries ... "Amusingly, the question that caused most problems was: Simplify the following expression: TRUE OR "Pop Idol is better than Fame Academy" which reduces simply to TRUE. There seemed to be much concealed deliberation as to whether the exam marker would favour Pop Idol or Fame Academy and some answered as obscurely as they could without revealing their favourite, but pointing out the good aspects of each. Of course, Fame Academy is far superior to Pop Idol." Enjoy. Oh, I enjoyed DIEP-CRAFTY and ISICHESS-JUNIOR today. g
