That is one of my concern.  But I am also concerned about lock-in by one vendor
through one proprietory 'secret' format.  Diversity is healthy.  I would even
suggest it is  necessary.

I am not an ICGA member.  I bought some back issue of the magazine when I
started chess programming, but frankly ICGA has done little to endear itself to
me.  From a practical perspective I get infinitely more from CCC and some of its
members website, and CCT.

For non-MS OS, non-playchess.com the real-time relay is non-existant.  Why is
this not a convincing reason for not joining ICGA?

Surely you (ICGA) are not claiming credit for this.

Doubtful since I cannot watch it.  I depend entirely on the efforts of one or
two participants posting here, for which I thank them.
