I'm not sure...  just that speed takes care of some things that would other-
wise be taken care of by programming, and vice-versa.  I've always found the
"tuning" for a particular speed level to be interesting.  IE on a motorcycle,
you have a given horsepower and a weight you can work with to make that horse-
power perform reasonably.  In a car, the equation changes as you have more
horsepower and therefore carry more weight for more utility...

Or in aviation, the difference between a "glider" and a C5A...
