If one was to find one of those great looking Mephisto sets, such as Bavaria, in >Ebay for example, what would be the selling price more or less? the Bavaria is the board..full piece recognition depending which module is in the board ,the price will vary greatly the board itself(with no module)is worth around $1000-$1500 depending on condition back in the 1990's it sold for several thousand dollars brand new > >I see the Excelsior, new, is around $700. the Mephisto Exclusive is the only wooden, auto sensory board that can still be purchased brand new today the Magellan/Senator modules are by Frans Morsch and were released in 1998 they are rated about 2075/2175 the chief difference between the two being the Magellan has larger Hash Ram for endgame play > >And that Magellan module is basically an on purpose limited Fritz 6? Fritz? err .. is this a PC prog of some sort? dont know anything about this had a friend named Fritz though..back in school :) Steve > >Thanks, Bruce
