I have 2 computers (XP2400+/512M/Win98) identical. I have Fritz 8 version 8.0.0.23 installed on both. I have hash set for 128M on both. While testing Edwards position below I noticed one found Ke3 (A) quickly and the other (B) picked Bc5 and stayed locked on that move. Here is what the "properties" of the 2 8.0.0.23 engines looks like: Computer A: Version 8.0.0.23 Size 456K (466,944 bytes) 491,520 bytes used Created Sunday March 02, 2003 Modified Sunday March 02, 2003 Computer B: Version 8.0.0.23 Size 456K (466,944 bytes) 475,136 bytes used Created Sunday March 02, 2003 Modified Sunday March 02, 2003 Anyone have an explanation for this?
