Of course this is lost now for Crafty. At least normally, speaking in terms of
human chess. But everything can happen with these machines. Look at JUNIOR
against ISICHESS. I think Crafty played an absolutely weak game! Incredible. I
thought that Bob has found something with passed pawns. But here Crafty went
into a position where he had to block bP with his Rooks. Completely condemned
into passivity. Instead of c4-c5 what I had in mind when I dreamed about a win
Crafty played g4 and allowed Black to cut off the White King for a lifetime.
Move 25.f3 must be seriously researched by Crafty's author. Probably already
22.h4 I guess.

Guy, excuse me, but since you are from ICGA let me tell you with all due
respect, that - from a human chess perspective - it looks absolutely crazy and
inacceptable how this 10th round was seeded. Incredible. It was said that it
were a computer program and that couldn't see the idiocy. But then I argue that
smart and experienced human beings, experts, should have known that mess already
in advance that 11 rounds for 14 participants is nonsense in itself and would
lead to the actual mess.

Regards,

Rolf
