You can't play boring do nothing chess and expect a full >point, only a draw. Not like these guys unless you're a solid GM, or a tactical genius. Interestingly I still prefer long range tactics, but it isn't very easy these days, although some programs will crack if I really give it my best, but I'm not as brilliant as these guys! Don't you remember how Kasparov, when he _needed_ a win, he closed up the position until Fritz had no idea to proceed? The position Kasparov created is easy for humans but beyond computers for the most part...he knew how to win when he had to.
