also is is compact enough to travel with (Hence the Novag case) and >it runs ac or dc. it also takes 5 C batteries you remove all of the modules and then you can seperate the top part of the board from the lower part..you pry it upwards you will see the battery compartment batteries last pretty long too did you know that the Exclusive board also takes batteries? the top part of the board can be pulled back to reveal the battery compartment however, depending on the module..the adaptor is still needed for example..Genius needs an adaptor but the Polgar can take the batteries Steve
