Subject: Rebel10-auto232 promise

Just found the following on the Rebel-board:

I have no idea for an exact date when we will release an auto232 compatible
version. In June/July this year it was decided to drop auto232 because of the
ongoing unfair SSDF competition. Because of that the auto232 software is
still in a state of development. New learning ideas were added but the testing
stopped. It would be very unwise to release auto232 now as its status is
unclear.

Auto232 will be released. A promise is a promise. But whatever leaves our
hands is always fully tested as we are not used to release garbage. I am not
sure how long this will take. It depends on the quality what has been
programmed sofar and its corresponding results.

For the moment the CHESS TIGER auto232 testing has a higher priority.
When this is finished the auto232 testing of Rebel will be started again.

For the moment...has a higher priority...

Like a politician after election he trys to get out of what he'd promised. Maybe
this indicates that there will be no auto232-support for Rebel10.
