Chessmaster 6000 default is a bit behind the other top programs at fast chess or at a bit longer time controls on a slower computer. I would bet a human player would find Chessmaster 6000 a stronger player at fast chess then most other programs, because in many of its games at fast time controls playing other computers. Chessmaster 6000 many times has a better position only to be caught by a tactical shot that most human would not find. Chessmaster 6000 defaults bit weaker play when playing other computers seems to turn around at about 1 min a move on my P II 400. And from that time control on the the gap widens more in more in favor of Chessmaster 6000 default. I am finding this when playing other chess programs or other chessmaster personalities >Uri
