Yes, ss=10 is maybe a bit stronger, it is +2 after 14 games. It is for sure
faster at many tactical positions. And is stronger at faster time controls. At
slow chess they are pretty close. I find them the best 2 settings, if one is
really better playing humans and other computers I'm not sure. I will have to
play ss=10 and default and play them against other programs to tell for sure. We
now how good default is, if ss=10 is a bit better also at playing other programs
and humans look out.:)
