(Song from german rock group Guru Guru ;-) As i was radio and television mechanicer some decades ago, such mysterious, sproradic failors happened a lot with tvs and other devices. The 220V 50 Hz is not always a pure sinus, but has a lot of spikes, where probably some cheap power supplies have problems with. I remember one customer, who at least three times a week has to change a burned electric bulb in one special room. Gerd
