Of course, 45...Re4+ loses instantly, with The King announcing Mate >in 8 in just a few seconds. > >Happy Hunting! hi John my point was ..you can play against a dedicated computer like you would against a human opponent..especially in Blitz this is the fun of it for me i knew if i complicated the position enough and with not much time left ..the V9 could go astray the V9 acheives a maximum search depth of only 7 ply after about 45 sec of thought.. Cmaster or Shredder or Fritz can zoom to 7 ply in 5 sec..so of course they would not fall prey to these shananigans it is just fun to play against a computer with the chance one can win every now and again Best Steve > >jm
