I am having trouble compiling crafty 19.15 from the command line... running a G4
powerbook w/ X11 now, and Xboard (thanks mostly to help i've recieved here), but
every time i try to compile crafty for example "gcc .../crafty.c -o .../crafty"
I get the error message that it cannot find file "stropts.h" Any suggestions?

Also: with GNUChess 5.07, when i try to build the opening book w/ the
book_1.01.pgn from the GNU website, it says that there are improper characters
in the file stream. I don't think that i've accidentally added anything to the
pgn file in the way of text formatting... do I need to delete the header files
from the games?? That seems highly unlikely since that would be an arduous task
in a pgn database of 180,000+ games.
