Simul does decrease performance (naturally), I would not be surprised if the
decrease is 20-40 points per opponent. so Garry played according to his rating
if he had 10 opponents in each simul.

on a related note, does anybody have some statistics on how simul decreases
one's performance? the numbers I mentioned I got from a could of simuls I looked
at a while ago.
