It was rated at 2387 on a Pentium 90Mhz, after 240 games at standard
tournament time control (40 moves/2hour) on the Feb 98 SSDF Rating List. Now,
using Larry Kaufman's PC hardware speed index, we would subtract 65 points for
your 486DX2-66mhz. This would translate to a rating of 2322.
I think CM5000 is still listed on the latest SSDF Rating list, which you can
access thru the ICD Homepage.
Also you might want to upgrade your motherboard and CPU to Pentium 233Mhz.
Myself, I upgraded my computer from 486 to Cyrix M2 -233 Mhz for less than $200
here in San Diego. It was well worth it with quicker running programs, plus a
boost of 145 Rating points on Chess Programs.
