Ducates are ChessBase currency.
You can buy 10 Dukates for 1 Euro.


Other persons had asked if the Prizes might
be payed in "real cash". This is not possible.

One advantage of ChessBase currency is that you
do not have banking fees when transfering them to
other people - either in your own country or abroad.
International banking fees would be relatively large
for sums in the region of 50,-- or 25,-- or 12,50 Euro.
