somebody in the israeli chess forum asked about the level of these chess programs he also posted a game between them at 2 hours per game You can see the game in the following link(link is in hebrew but you can understand the game that is in english) http://www.chess.org.il/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=4930 He asked about the level of these programs. He evaluated their rating as 2500 for chess elite(the winner) and 2300 for Sherolck and I replied that his evaluation is probably too optimistic because I except to know every name of programs that people use at level of 2500 or higher. I never heard about these programs. Do you know some details about them like who is the programmer and what is their level and if they are commercial programs? I can ask the guy who posted the game but I prefer to ask also here. I know almost every name of winboard programs and also names of commercial programs that people usually use(chessmaster,Junior,Fritz,Shredder,Hiarcs,Tiger,Gandalf,Ruffian,Sjeng,Ktulu,Patriot) but it seems that inspite of it I know nothing about names of some programs that people use today.
