I don't think Christophe had to start over. Even after two years since the last
release Tiger 15.0 still does very well against all the _newest_ versions of
it's rivals.

Unlike most professional programmers, Christophe just doesn't release a new
version "just because it's after the WCCC" or "Just because it is Christmas
season". He prefers to have a significant increase in strength over the last
version, and is patient enough to wait until that time.

Personally I salute him for the actions he takes, instead of just bilking money
from users every 6 months for an engine that shows no _real_ improvement. ie.
Ruffian, Fritz 7 strength vs Fritz 8 strength.

Then again I could just talking out of my ass, and Christophe is sitting back
enjoying like and drinking like a TWA pilot before a flight :)
