I have tried mine using the starting positions with the CM as white at 10
seconds a move the knight and bishop on the queenside, naturally some dependance
on hardware plays a role. Clearly it isn't perfect since an engine with a TB
will play it perfect in fact using your starting postions MCP8 takes 20 moves. I
will re-state then that CM can find some mates with K V KBN, try the starting
positions as stated MCP8 takes 30. I am interested to see what yours does, my
computer is a 225 MMX, 64 meg ram, cm set at 32 meg ram.
