Ok, it's a pity though. The main thing I like about Shredder is its UCI
compatibility as this allows me to use it in Chess Assistant, but as a
stand-alone I would have liked the Shredder Classic GUI, not to mention Sandro
Necchi's book. Unfortunately it seems that despite the impression the following
on the site gives:
"You can download a slightly restricted test version of the world champion chess
program Shredder Classic free of charge and try it out for 30 days without
obligation. Shredder Classic runs on all Windows PCs with at least Windows 98."
It isn't exactly the current WC program.
