people calculate different.

I have complex conditions when to extend.

That is my doubt is if suppose any
>check move is made, then that is not counted right?

based on the program.
Movei does not extend one ply for every check.

it may extend some checks for more than a single ply and it also may decide not
to extend some checks.

I mean its an extension I

Captures usually are not exteneded.
recaptures may be extended.

So suppose if we are searching 4

In the relevant line if we decide to extend every check by one ply but there are
more lines and some lines with no check moves may not be extended or even pruned
and be searched only for 3 plies.
