All of these programs are super special for certain segments of the chess buying public. 1) CM6000 for novice and lower rated players who will get a tremendously strong program with the world's best non interactive chess tutorials (especially the Josh Waitzkin annotated games). Note Chess Mentor has the best interactive tutorials. 2) Fritz 5-32 bit with the most and greatest features for all levels of players 3) ChessBase 7 the world's greatest dB for players over 2000 in rating 4) Chess Assistant 4 the world's greatest dB for players under 2000 in rating 5) Rebel 10 the program that gives the serious tournament player the most all around features. All of these programs were significantly upgraded in 1998 and thus rate the title of Program of the Year for 1998.
