Zappa does the full bit: iterative search with dynamic splitting anywhere, for no other reason than the fact that it sounded interesting :) ABDADA seems much simpler and easier to implement. I believe SOS uses ABDADA. OTOH, if you run on a NUMA supercomputer I would think that ABDADA would start to fall down. anthony
