There are a couple of other interesting commands: 1. Start the GUI and type "bench" on your keyboard. Depending on your computer it will give a result within seconds. It is quite good and accurate for AMD CPUs but unfortunately Intel P4 are rated a bit too slow. Basic number is a P3 with 1GHz. So in my case my comp is 2.53 times faster than a 1GHz P3 2 To calculate elo difference type "tp wins draws losses" for this match with the pgn above type "tp 1 7 12" and you get the elo difference in the analysis windows 3. Type "ucilog" to switch a logfile on. Every command comming from or going to the engine will be stored in a Ucilogfile in the classic folder. If you type "ucilog" again it will be switched off. It is a toggle command. 4. tyspe "ucidebug" (and ucidebug again to switch it off) to directly see all command comming from or going to the engine 5. Then there is a possibility to use the GUI with an SSH connection to another computer to use engines there. If anyone is interested in this I can post a brief description but there is no official support for this. These are the most used commands from my side. >>Crafty 19.15 SE vs ShredderClassic engine 4.5 - 15.5 (+1 =7 -12) > >Is there a way to save this result ? >(in my registered Shredder-Classic, this kind of indication is on the screen >during the engine match, but is saved nowhere after the match is finished) You have to write it down manualy or count the number of draw, wins and losses out of the pgn. There is a problem where to store it. If you run a Tourney in the new Classic GUI you have an information file, but if you just run an enginematch you only get the PGN notation. Unfortunatly there is no way to store that information according to the definition in a PGN file. Bye Ingo PS: There is more to discover in this GUI than most people think! ;-)
