Sometime ago when discussing compiling Crafty for Win32 and getting around the NUMA errors someone posted that using: unsigned deftype DWORD_ptr; At the top of chess.h was easier to use, rather than commenting out all the NUMA stuff in utility.c. This worked for me, but as a result of a faulty power supply (which claimed the life of 2 hard drives, 1 cdrom, and 1 video card) I lost that informaion. Is that the correct code addition? When I enter it I am getting an error. Hopefully someone can remember. The search engine is down, or I would have just used that. Peter
