Of course its also very slow and doesn't get some positions that it seems like other engines all get. I stopped working on it a couple of years ago (after cct5) and just recently started again. I've implemented a parallel search and slowed down the engine even more by generating attack tables. Right now I do not do any pruning except nullmove and alpha-based futility pruning in the qsearch. I do checks in the qsearch. I am still looking for bugs in the rewrite (and finding them). Once I get a little more confident in the new code I will start with some pruning ideas I have and maybe try to speed things up a little. http://wannabe.guru.org/scott/hobbies/chess/ Scott
