The program sees Kf8/g8/h8 in A and rejects all of them due to:

rejected g7f8 in (alpha=-21,beta=-20,value=-21,best=-21):
(value is not > best)

Same for
rejected g7g8 in (alpha=-21,beta=-20,value=-21,best=-21)

Same for
rejected g7h8 in (alpha=-21,beta=-20,value=-21,best=-21):

As a result, "best move" is selected for the position and search
exits without storing a hash move.
