It would be nice if you >would tell us which style is best instead of telling us that the default style >is crap! i can't put Butter by the Fische :-)) Instead of reacting when you send a programmer a new setting he posts religious or any other stuff in CTF. Programmers do not behave normal. When you sent chris whittington a fax telling: there is a big bug when doing a promotion, the fax will be print out and the paper rolls into the trash. maybe the cleaning woman when cleaning the room finds the paper with the "bug". maybe a worker in the company who is not as stupid as the programmer finds the paper and tries to REPRODUCE the situation. he then cannot reproduce the "BUG" and throw the FAX again into the trash. Next championship it is Mate in 4 and you only have to promote into a queen. But the program will not promote into a queen. it loses the game because it promotes into a knight. Jan Louwmann runs arround and is very happy smiling because this "programmer he always said is an idiot" loses because of a bug. Chris Whittington will come back from getting a cup of coffee will not understand in the first 60 seconds that this mate in 4 was a loss due to a bug. the paper in the trash. had all the information 3 weeks before the championship. but nobody read it, despite the cleaning woman and a worker in the company who came to the conclusion that he cannot reproduce the "bug". programmers do not work like a swiss clock. they are very complex people. some do not asnwer emails for at least 6 month. then you get an aswer saying that your style is complete madness. and then they come out with a style against shredder that loses 1-9. thats how reality works. >Bye Ingo > >PS: Except all styles are crap, then it is better to be silent :-) in opposite to you i have tried in the last 6 months to find a better style. so don't tell me that i had to be silent about a topic i did for a long time while you worked with the program for few days by now.
