Need help with Pro Deo in Chessbase - Depth 1? I installed Pro Deo (Rebel) yesterday in S8 GUI (Chessbase) as a UCI engine from the Pro Deo folder and in Chessbase Gui - not using the setup file in Pro Deo - and it ran fine yesterday, this after I changed hash parameter to w8, 200MB. I ran an engine match with S8 using Rebel 2 as personality and all was fine, using no book for Rebel - it used its own book. Today I changed hash to w9, 400MB and set up a different engine match with J8, longer time controls and Nunn 2 book, .ctg file for both J8 and Rebel. Match started and when it was Rebel’s time to move all I got was depth 1. In main window, Rebel would analyze fine in infinite analysis up to depth 15 plus. Again same problem with engine match. I deleted all rebel files, unzipped, re-installed a couple of times and same problem. Now in the main window all I get is depth 1 for infinite analysis, and it won’t let me re-install Rebel. There seems no way to uninstall a UCI engine in CB and I’m guessing something remains in the GUI that is screwing things up even more than initially. Help! Thanks Chris
